Handheld Series tt8000 and tt7000

The navigator
In-car or outside navigation is easy with the tt7000 and tt8000 series.
With the internal GPS receiver, either in the BackPack (tt7000) or integrated into the device (tt8000C-series), the handhelds provide navigation without the need for external peripherals. Geo-positions away from the road are easily captured, for example, monitoring industrial plants, tracking containers and vehicles in large car parks. The navigator is also essential for applications in agrarian and forestry areas, which are not recorded on maps.
In the car the internal GPS receiver can be used or an external GPS mouse can be connected directly or via the installed cradle. Standard navigation systems such as Map & Guide, Sygic or Tom Tom 5 take care of routing.

The professional for delivery logistics
The tt7000 and tt8000 are the essential assistants for all courier, express, post and delivery services with laser scanner (1D or 2D), touch-screen digital signatures and GPRS data transmission.
Direct on-the-spot payment is guaranteed by means of the integrated magnetic card and/or chip card reader.
The integrated modules in the BackPack are easy to use. The in-car standard cradle is also fitting to the devices including BackPack.
The security expert
Both tt7000 and tt8000 make surveillance of goods, persons or buildings using any RFID technology easy.
The unique BackPack technology in the devices easily integrates different make RFID readers with diverse frequencies (125 KHz – 868 MHz) and distances. The basic device simply connects the different readers using the standard integrated interface.
The optional integrated camera or imager can recognise photos, identity papers or documents with high resolution and read data by using OCR directly on the mobile device or pass them to a central computer for checking.
The warehousing and stock control manager
The handhelds can be equipped with a wide range of scanners in accordance with storage requirements.
Whether 1D laser or 2D Imager, short range, long range or super long range, they can all be integrated. If the warehouse goods are already equipped with transponders, different RFID readers can be integrated.
If both technologies are in use in the warehouse, scanner and RFID reader (125 KHz – 868 MHz) can be integrated in the same device. With the Powerscan option, the tt8000 has become an essential warehouse worker. The additional battery with a hot-
change function in the grip guarantees problem-free
constant use in three-shift operation.
