New: Radio Scanner Positioning

The locating and positioning with our handheld devices tt7000 and tt8000 with integrated GPS receivers has longtime functioned reliably outside of buildings. It is now also possible to locate outdoors and indoors with these devices, independent of the GPS reception. 

 

The Handhelds can be utilized for indoor as well as outdoor locating with a transponder (commonly known as tags) which is integrated either in a BackPack or in the pistol grip. The principle is similar to that for the GPS, only that instead of the satellites, stationary transponders (commonly known as anchor points) are installed and divided at long distances across the area (power supply only required via AC adapter). The distances between the tags and the anchor points are determined extremely precisely via the patented „CSS (Chirp Spread Spectrum)“ and „SDS-TWR (Symmetrical Duble-Sided Two Way Ranging)“ system which also includes continuously determining the current position of the Handhelds or, if required, the position on request (e.g. during the scanning process).

With this technology very interesting solutions are provided e.g. for warehouse management. With the Handhelds not only the respective goods can be scanned but also its position recorded and stored in the warehouse management system during the process. If the warehouse is additionally equipped with a video and camera system, the complete process can be documented consistently and retraced at all times, i.e. when which goods were recorded at which location, in which condition and by whom. With this system “the dream of every warehouse manager” can come true.

 

 

 

Mobiler Thermodrucker von GeBE

Der GeBE-FLASH setzt neue Maßstäbe in Flexibilität, Mobilität, sowie Handling. Die GeBE Elektronik und Feinwerktechnik GmbH (Vertrieb für Österreich: Halmer Werksvertretungen GmbH) entwickelte einen Drucker, der sich den individuellsten Einsatzgebieten perfekt anpasst.

 

Aufgrund seiner kompakten und sogleich soliden Bauform, in Verbindung mit einem sehr geringen Gewicht, eignet sich der GeBE-FLASH hervorragend für platzsensitive und mobile Applikationen, beispielsweise als Gürteldrucker in der Gastronomie oder für messtechnische Aufgaben im mobilen Einsatz. In solchen Fällen erfolgt die Stromversorgung statt über ein externes Netzgerät, einfach und unkompliziert über vier AA-Zellen. Auch der Papierwechsel funktioniert Dank der Easyloading - Technologie spielend einfach. Der GeBE-Flash passt sich, durch frei wählbare Gehäusefarben, sowie Aufdruck des Firmen- Logos, perfekt Ihrem Betrieb an. Überwacht von diversen Sensoren, für Papiervorrat, Powerspannung, Temperatur am Druckkopf und Akku, ist der Thermodrucker von -10°C bis 50°C gefahrlos einsetzbar. Ausgestattet ist der GeBE-FLASH entweder mit serieller RS 232, mit USB, mit Infrarot- Schnittstellen oder mit RF- Kommunikation (Bluetooth).

Bei der Entwicklung wurde speziell auf einen einfache Bedienung und das praxisgerechte Handling im rauen Umfeld gelegt. Vor allem in Kombination mit den Produkten aus dem Hause t+t netcom, den Serien tt5000, tt7000 und tt8000, entsteht eine Lösung der Superlative.

Dieses Gesamtpaket ermöglicht mit den robusten Handheld Computern die Datenerfassung mittels aller gängigen Technologien. Barcode (1D und 2D), RFID (LF, HF, und UHF), Positionsdaten (GPS und D-GPS) und sogar Fotos. Alle weiteren Daten wie Zeit oder Datum stehen selbstverständlich auch zur Verfügung. Die Verbindung zum Server kann über WiFi (Wlan), GPRS, Ethernet oder USB hergestellt werden. Diese Daten können entweder sequenziell oder parallel aufgenommen werden, um dann per USB, Infrarot oder Bluetooth übertragen zu werden. Mit den Optionen Magnet-Card-Reader oder Chip-Card-Reader kann sogar ein Zahlungsverkehr abgewickelt werden.
